Today's theme-
Yellow yellow healthy fellow! This is probably one of the easiest school lunch
combos. Today's short break is mangoes and long break is Poha with aaloo
bhujia.
Short break- Mangoes
Mangoes are the king of fruits.
They hold a special place in my heart. This pic was taken a month ago when the
mango season was at its peak. If you don’t like mangoes or if they are
unavailable, then you can go for any seasonal fruit of your choice. Slicing and
dicing fruits hardly takes any time. So this is the easiest and healthiest
short break I could think of.
Long break- Poha
Poha is a savoury
dish made of beaten rice, flavoured by turmeric powder, garam masala and green
chillies and with the goodness of veggies. Top it with aaloo bhujia, and you
are ready to drool. When you pack it for
school, give the aaloo bhujia separately to prevent it from becoming soggy.
