So here
comes another fun and interesting millet recipe- Cutlet! Cutlets are really
healthy. So many veggies that go into it. Add a couple of millets to it, and
you not only have tastier but also healthier cutlets. What’s better than the
combined goodness of four millets? The millets add a unique flavor to the
cutlet. The bread crumbs make the cutlets super crispy. This is one millet dish
that your kids can not refuse. Get innovative and make millet burgers using
these cutlets as patties! These are just perfect for parties, lunch box, after
school snacks or just an evening snack along with your cup of tea. Dip them in
some tangy tomato sauce and enjoy your healthy mixed millets cutlet!

Ingredients:
Little millet-
4 tblsp
Foxtail- 4
tblsp
Barnyard millet-
4 tblsp
Kodo millet-
4 tblsp
Onion-1
(finely chopped)
Capsicum-1,
small (finely chopped)
Potato-2
Carrot-1
Corn- ½ cup
Bread crumbs-
1 cup
Coriander leaves-
¼ cup
Chili powder-
1 tsp
Garam masala-
1 tsp
Salt- as
needed
Oil- use as
needed
Method:
1. Wash and soak all the millets together
in water for 5 to 10 minutes.
2. Now cook the millets in 2 cups of water, in a kadai for
5 to 8 minutes, or until fully cooked. If required add more water to cook the millets. Keep aside.
3. Pressure cook potatoes, corn and
carrots. Once pressure releases, mash them.
4. Add the cooked millets to the mashed
veggies. Add finely chopped onion and capsicum to this.
5. Add chili powder, garam masala and
salt to this. Finally add chopped coriander leaves and ½ cup of bread crumbs. Mix everything together. Save ½ cup of bread
crumbs to apply coating later.
6. Make small patties with the mixture.
Coat it with bread crumbs.
7. Shallow fry these patties on a tawa.
Cook until it turns crispy on both sides.

You
can add any veggies of your choice.

Don’t
forget to coat the patties with bread crumbs as it helps in crispiness.

Increase
spice levels according to your taste buds.
