Chicken burger!
My kids always want have burger. Always. Not very
healthy. So how to make it healthier? Just make it at home! I used to think
that making the patty would be a tedious job. But surprisingly, it was pretty easy!
When you make the patties, ninety percent of the work is done. And the rest, is
just putting it together, and honestly, that is the best part! (apart from
eating it 😉). The burger also contains the must have onions, tomatoes and
lettuce, which give it the crunch factor. The custom-made sauce adds the zing
factor. You can involve your kids while putting the burger together and have a family
fun time. Make some fries, squeeze some lemon juice and you have an awesome meal!

Ingredients:
Burger bun- 4 to 5
Onion-1 (cut into round slices)
Tomato-1 (cut into round slices)
Lettuce- 5
Mayonnaise- 3 tblsp
Tomato sauce- 1 tblsp
Pepper powder- 1 tsp
Ghee- 1 tblsp
For chicken patties:
Chicken- ½ kg (minced)
Onion-1
Bread crumbs-1/2 cup
Garlic pearls- 3
Pepper powder- 1 tblsp
Chili powder- ¼ tsp
Salt- as needed
Egg-1
Oil-2 tblsp
Method:
1. Wash and clean the minced chicken and
drain the water completely. To this, add finely chopped onion, garlic, pepper
powder, chili powder and ¼ cup of bread crumbs and salt. Mix everything well.
Shape them into patties, as big as the size of burger buns. With ½ kg of minced
chicken, we can make around 4 to 5 big patties.
2. Beat the egg well. Dip the patties in
the egg and roll it over the remaining ¼ cup of bread crumbs. Rest it for 5
minutes.
3.Heat a tawa and add oil to it. Add
the patties to the tawa and shallow fry until it turns crispy and brown on both
the sides.
4.Cut the burger buns into two pieces. Add
ghee to the tawa and slightly toast the burger buns. Keep it aside.
5. Mix mayonnaise, tomato sauce and
pepper powder together. Apply this mixture on the inner sides of the burger
bun.
6. Place a chicken patty on one of the
burger buns. Then place the onion, tomato and lettuce on top of it. Close it
with the other piece of the burger bun.
Serve this with sauce of your choice.

one side of burger bun.
place the chicken patty on that.
next place the onion.
place some tomatoes and lettuce on top of that
cover with the other piece of burger bun.
serve with sauce of your choice.
